On January 7, American automotive media, Motor Trend revealed the first photos of the next-generation RX taken during a road test.
In its third-generation, the current RX was launched in fall 2009 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The RX underwent its first complete makeover in 2012 by installing Lexus’ modernized spindle grille for a renewed look.
Lexus should be unveiling a new model fairly soon as it has been over five years since the debut of their current RX. The concept model of their next RX could be launched on January 12 at the 2015 North American International Auto Show.
Motor Trend’s photos reveal the body completely covered in camouflage. The renowned auto media said, “Lexus has expanded the body of the new RX to differentiate it from their entry level NX. However, it should be lighter due to the use of aluminum parts.â€
