Mazda Motor Corporation announced that for the fourth year in a row, it was named the top automobile manufacturer for adjusted fuel economy according to the Light-Duty Fuel Economy Trends Report for the 2015 model year, released by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on November 2.
The EPAâ€™s Fuel Economy Trends Reports is a summary of fuel economy trends of vehicles sold in the US, and lists the compiled adjusted fuel economy results by manufacturer. Mazdaâ€™s adjusted fuel economy for the 2015 model year was 29.6mpg (approx. 12.5km/liter), a 0.2mpg (approx. 0.1km/liter) improvement from the previous year.
