On March 24, 2016, Suzuki announced that they acquired a perfect score of 46 points for the first time in the keir car class safety performance assessment from the JNCAP, and have achieved the Advanced Safety Vehicle-Plus (ASV +) evaluation.
In the safety performance assessment, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, and the National Agency for Automotive Safety & Victim’s Aid (NASVA) are organizations that evaluate a vehicle’s advanced safety technology, and reveal its results. They conducted a safety performance test for its injury abatement brake, traffic lane departure alarm, and its rear viewpoint information equipment that supports the driver during back-driving (back view monitor and the like), and it achieved an overall evaluation of ASV+ and ASV for its safety performance.
The Hustler was mounted with a Dual Camera Brake Support and Multi-around Monitor stereo camera collision avoidance brake systems. As for the result of each safety performance test, it achieved a perfect score of 46 and achieved the ASV+ assessment.
