2015 ITS World Congress: Denso to introduce advanced driving support system with futuristic cockpit

Denso will be exhibiting at the 22nd ITS World Congress 2015 in Bordeaux, France on October 5 to October 9, 2015. Denso will introduce products and technologies that sustains advance driving support systems with the theme “To protect life through technology, To create a safe and worry-free world.”

Denso will be introducing a futuristic cockpit that equips parts such as a big head-up display, a driver status monitor that detects where the driver is looking or if he/she seems sleepy, electric mirrors, and the like. One may communicate with the car through these technologies—for example, a warning for the driver when the vehicle is near a danger zone, an information transfer to the driver when there is congestion or a need to transfer to another traffic lane, and the like.

Moreover, they will introduce every kind of advanced driving support system like the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) locator that can detect the car’s location information through GPS and detect which way your car is running with the help of camera monitoring. It also includes a circumference monitoring system that uses four cameras, and it warns the driver as it detects an object near the car.

Furthermore, Denso is also conducting actual driving experiments related to the advanced driving support systems on public roads and test courses, and will also present their joint research with the National University of Singapore and national research institutions regarding auto driving field.
