Mitsubishi provides Georgian government with 96 units of Outlander PHEV and i-MiEV

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announced that it will supply 45 Outlander PHEVs and 51 i-MiEVs to the government of Georgia.

This supply is due to an Overseas Development Agreement between the Japanese and Georgian governments. The electric vehicles will be supplied to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development in Georgia in January 2018.

Moreover, MMC has also established a servicing agreement with its local sales company Caucasus Motors, to provide servicing and maintenance of EVs in Georgia.

Mitsubishi has been an active provider of EVs to public institutions overseas, with 635 Outlander PHEVs supplied to the Ukrainian police department and five units each of the Outlander PHEV and i-MiEV supplied to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the Philippines.
