The Police Department of Milano, Italy announced on March 30 that they were introducing a Ferrari 458 Spider to their department’s lineup of police cars.
This 458 Spider in particular was seized from the Italian Mafia in 2015 by the Milano Police. According to Italian law, property seized from the mafia can be used by the police department after submitting the proper application.
The Ferrari 458 Spider, more in line with the rest of the department’s vehicles, has been repainted with a white base and green accents, transforming the look of the vehicle.
Also, according to the Milano Police, the car will not only be used as an actual patrol car but also as a tool for youth education programs.
