Nissan Note e-POWER tops 100,000 units in sales

On November 23, Nissan Motor Corporation announced that sales of the Note e-Power reached the 100,000-unit mark approximately 11 months after its release last November.

Unlike conventional powertrains, e-POWER is a 100% electric powertrain. The Note e-POWER is driven by an electric motor, which is powered by the gasoline engine. The electric-motor drivetrain achieves powerful, responsive acceleration and a quiet ride for a variety of scenes and driving conditions.

In November 2016 when the Note e-POWER was released, Nissan’s compact hatchback achieved sales of over 10,000 units in merely one month. Its sales continued to steadily climb thereafter with 30,000 units recorded in February 2017 and over 50,000 units the following month. These successful results led to the milestone achievement of 100,000 units at the end of October.

To commemorate this achievement, Nissan held a ceremony at the Nagoya Motor Show, being held at Portmesse Nagoya, on November 23 to welcome the owner of 100,000th Note e-POWER.
