Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that it began shipments of the all-new Eclipse Cross SUV to Europe.
Currently, Mitsubishi’s SUV lineup consists of the RVR compact SUV, the Outlander midsize SUV and the Outlander PHEV crossover SUV. The newest addition to this lineup is the new Eclipse Cross compact SUV. Along with its unique design, the Eclipse Cross combines the sharp look of a coupe with the performance of an SUV that’s worthy of the Mitsubishi label. It also offers the latest connectivity features and four-wheel-drive technology.
On October 3, the first shipment of the all-new Eclipse Cross was delivered to Europe from Mitsubishi’s Okazaki Plant in Aichi Prefecture. Once the shipment arrives, the Eclipse Cross will go on sale in various markets throughout Europe. Mitsubishi’s newest SUV will then be sold in nearly 80 countries and regions around the world including Japan, North America and Australia.
The European Eclipse Cross comes equipped with a downsized 1.5-liter direct injection turbo engine that generates 163hp/5,500rpm of maximum output and 25.5kgm/1,800-4,500rpm of maximum torque.
