Mazda’s new headquarters set for grand opening

On August 25, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) announced the completion of its new headquarters.

MNAO’s former headquarters, located in Irvine, California, was the central base for all of Mazda’s operations in North America. The new headquarters will also be situated in Irvine at 200 Spectrum Center Drive.

MNAO and its nearly 350 employees will occupy floors 6 to 10 of the 21-floor building. All of the necessary items including PCs, desks and chairs were selected based on the opinions of the 350 employees.

The interior of the new headquarters was designed to reflect “driving pleasure,” Mazda’s brand essence featured on their automobiles.

Moreover, MNAO’s new headquarters also houses a complimentary coffee shop called Caffe Three Waves on the 8th floor of the building to “pay homage to Mazda’s unique culture originating from Hiroshima, Japan.” The coffee shop employs a cold brew technique from Kyoto.
