Tastech rent a lease co., ltd., a company based in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture and operated by Orix Auto Corporation and Orix Rent-A-Car, announced it will commence rentals of the all-new NSX on September 1.
The new NSX, for which sales commenced last August in the U.S., was released to the Japanese market this February for 23.7 million yen. However, as its sales are limited to 100 units annually, customers will have to wait for about a year after placing their order to get their hands on the vehicle. For those who simply cannot wait that long, Orix Rent-A-Car Yawata Inter will be adding Honda’s rare and popular sports car to its lineup of rental vehicles. This is the first time for any major car rental company in Japan to offer the new NSX.
On August 17, Orix Rent-A-Car Yawata Inter began accepting pre-reservations. The rental prices are 70,200 yen for six hours, 101,520 yen for 12 hours, and 117,720 yen for 24 hours. Those interested in renting the NSX are required to have at least 20 years of driving experience and possess a gold driver’s license.
