Nissan just announced a big price cut on its Sunny mid-size sedan. With the revised pricing the base Nissan Sunny costs almost a lakh cheaper while the price of the top-spec XV CVT variant has been dropped by Rs 1.96 lakh.
The XL CVT variant has been discontinued and is replaced with a diesel variant- XV Safety Diesel which now sits at the top of the range. This model gets a side airbags as standard and is priced at Rs 10.76 lakh.
The same 1.5-liter and 1.5-liter diesel engines are available on the Sunny. The entry-level petrol version now costs Rs 6.99 lakh, while the base diesel is priced at Rs 7.49 lakh. The XV diesel will set you back Rs 8.99 lakh as will the sole petrol automatic variant.
