Mahindra has introduced a revised infotainment system on their flagship XUV500 SUV. The new unit gets more connectivity, apps and safety features.
The new system comes pre-loaded with apps like Gaana, Cricket Live, Zomato, BookmyShow, etc. Android Auto is now integrated into the device. The system also displays economical driving tips and has an emergency call feature which sends a text message to two preselected numbers. It’s triggered when the air bags deploy.
Ecosense monitors your driving style and awards an Ecoscore based on parameters like acceleration, braking, idling, gear selection and of course speed. Furthermore, the one-touch lane-change indicators are a welcome addition.
These features are now available on the W6 trim which is priced at Rs 13.8 lakh ex-showroom Navi Mumbai.
