Hyundai’s addition of a 6.2-inch touch screen infotainment system to the standard model of the Hyundai Eon may actually help car gain popularity among customers. After quite some time, the automaker finally decided to tweak up the Hyundai Eon features and specs by the addition of the intuitive screen.
While the Alto 800 still rules the affordable hatchback segment in the Indian automotive market, Hyundai Eon’s latest feature may bring back the car among the top contenders. However, the competition may rise among the cheap hatchbacks as Renault Kwid is also looking forward to a similar feature in its base variant.
It is surprising to note that the touchscreen infotainment system add-on is only incorporated in the 800cc Eon Era and Magna Plus models and not the more powerful Eon 1.0 variant. Besides the screen, the vehicle is also noted to equip roof rails and body mouldings.
Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi):
Hyundai Eon Era Plus: Rs 3.88 lakh
Hyundai Eon Magna Plus: Rs 4.14 lakh
