Lexus wins the Vehicle Dependency Study for 17th time

On March 16, Lexus announced that the Lexus brand has been given first place by JD Power for its 2017 Vehicle Dependency Study (VDS). It is the 17th time Lexus has been at the top of the ranking.

The 2017 Vehicle Dependency Study was carried out from October to December, 2016, and used drivers who had owned their new car for 1 to 5 years. It asked questions regarding customer satisfaction toward dealer service.

Lexus scored 874 out of the total possible 1,000 points. In addition to winning first place this year, it was also 15 points above the segment average.

Jeff Bracken, vice president and general manager of the Lexus Group, said, “Customer service is at the heart of our brand, and we’re proud of the continuous efforts by our dealers to exceed our buyers’ expectations.”
