On February 16, major Indian car maker Tata Motors announced that it was launching a partnership with Microsoft to produce connected cars.
Tata Motors is introducing Microsoft’s Azure platform with the aim of ramping up development of its connected cars.
The company’s CEO Guenter Butschek says, “With the aim to develop innovative and technologically leading products that excite customers, we at Tata Motors, understand the need for a connected ecosystem that can integrate into the digital lives of customers.”
Microsoft India president Anant Maheshwari says, “We are excited to partner with Tata Motors as they embark on a new journey of innovation with Microsoft Azure cloud.”
