Tesla, an American automaker of electric vehicles, is advancing into the Middle Eastern market for the first time.
The announcement was made on February 14 by Tesla CEO Elon Musk at the 2017 World Government Summit, being held in Dubai, UAE.
As one of the speakers at the summit, Musk announced that Tesla will be releasing electric vehicles in the UAE.
Tesla will be releasing the Model S and the Model X, and online reservations for these two models commenced on February 14.
Musk also stated that he expects these vehicles to be delivered to customers in Dubai this summer.
