In early November, Nissan’s overseas luxury brand Infiniti reported its October Europe new car sales. Total sales set a new record for October at 1,085 units. This is a significant 77% up over the previous year’s October.
Sales in France from January to October totaled 3,470 units. This is 232% up from the previous year. UK sales were up 147% at 2,619 units.
Germany sales were up 125% at 1,794 units. Sales in Italy were 1,913, which is six times last year’s October sales.
A great help to October’s record-setting sales was the new Infiniti Q30 premium compact car. Infiniti says its sales for January to October in Europe were 9,400 units.
Infiniti’s sales for January to October in Europe were 147% higher than the same period last year at 14,261 units. Infiniti Europe Vice President Raoul Picello said, “The expansion of the Infiniti lineup is the power behind our strong Europe sales.”
