New Subaru Impreza sees orders in first month reaching 4 times monthly sales target

Fuji Heavy Industries reports that orders of the new Subaru Impreza are four times the monthly sales goal of 2,500 in its first month with 11,050 orders.

With 51% of total orders going to customers who do not currently own Subaru models, it appears that the company’s efforts to reach out to new users have been a success.

Of the total, 20.1% of orders are for the G4 and 79.9% for the Sport. For a breakdown of G4 grades, 18% chose 1.6i-L EyeSight, 37% chose 2.0i-L EyeSight, and 45% chose 2.0i-S EyeSight. For the Sport, 26% chose 1.6i-L EyeSight, 39% chose 2.0i-L EyeSight, and 35% chose 2.0i-S EyeSight.
