On October 5, Infiniti announced its sales results for the European market for September 2016. According to these results, overall unit sales grew by a significant 94% from the previous year to 1,790 units, a record high for the month of September.
A breakdown of results for each market in 2016 (January to September) shows that France recorded 3,201 units as it soared 249% year on year, and the UK sold 2,500 units, climbing by a significant 181% from the year before.
Meanwhile, Germany increased 128% yoy to 1,707 units, followed by Italy with 1,696 units, which was a significant rise equaling six times its figures from the previous year.
Making significant contributions to Infinitiâ€™s success was the all-new Q30, which sold 8,728 units in the European market between January and September of this year.
So far in 2016 (January to September), Infiniti sales have grown 155% yoy to 13,176 units. Infiniti Europeâ€™s new Vice President Raoul Picello said, â€œIâ€™m delighted to join this company which continues to generate success.â€
