Toyota stays on top of JAMA new car ranking for 6th month in September

According to the Japan Automobile Dealers Association’s passenger car sales ranking for September, the Toyota Prius is at the top place again with a total of 20,043 sales, which is 111.7% growth year-on-year.

Second place model Toyota Aqua had 15,493 units (-15.5%), which is fully 4,550 units below the Prius. Toyota Sienta, which has seen favorable sales due to its full model change, was at third place with 12,290 units (+9.0%). September saw Toyota holding the top three places for the 6th straight month.
