Nissan Dayz sales at 3rd place for kei cars for first time in 5 months in August

According to August new kei-car sales figures published by the Japan Light Motor Vehicle and Motorcycle Association, the Nissan Dayz made a comeback rising for the first time in 5 months to 3rd place with sales of 7,268 (-21.2%).

The Mitsubishi eK, which like the Dayz has started sales again, sold 2,454 units (-7.1%) and held onto 13th place, not quite cracking the top 10.

First place with 13,276 units (+27.7%) was the Honda N-Box. It has held onto 1st place for 6 months. Holding steady at 2nd place was the Daihatsu Tanto with 10,677 units (+4.8%).
