Mitsubishi FUSO introduces new trucks in Kuwait

Mitsubishi FUSO Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), in cooperation with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck Asia (DTA), has launched its FA and FI medium-duty trucks and FJ heavy-duty truck in Kuwait. These trucks are produced at DICV’s Oragadam plant in Chennai, India.

Following its release in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in November 2015, the all-new FUSO lineup has been introduced to other countries in the Middle East including Qatar and Saudi Arabia. These trucks have already received high ratings for their durability and fuel efficiency.

Kuwait is currently extricating itself from dependence on oil and promoting the diversification of industries, and is upgrading its infrastructure. MFTBC aims to expand its customer base and contribute to industry development by offering a lineup that consists of a wide range of products from cargo trucks with 3-18 tons of loading capacity to tractors with 40-49 tons of GCW.

These FUSO trucks will be sold through local distributor Maseelah Trading Company. Despite Kuwait being a small nation, MFTBC will provide high-quality services through its densely located 16 service centers to enhance these vehicles’ uptime.
