Mitsubishi Steel's existing and possible operations overseas for springs business

Mitsubishi Steel to set up subsidiary in Mexico for manufacturing and sales of automotive suspension springs

On February 25, Mitsubishi Steel MFG. Co., Ltd. announced it will establish MSSC MFG Mexicana, a subsidiary company in Mexico.

Mitsubishi Steel will build the subsidiary to handle the manufacturing and sales of automotive suspension springs, which is expected to grow in demand with the expanding automobile market in Mexico. Mitsubishi Steel will utilize its experience from business operations in the US and Canada, and build and set up its facilities promptly to respond to the local demands of consumers in Mexico.

The capital for MSSC MFG Mexicana will range anywhere from 350,000 yen to 2 billion yen and be wholly owned by Mitsubishi Steel. Director Hiroshi Amano will be the president of the company.
