Lamborghini is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer. In the 2015 worldwide car sales of the same company, Japan has emerged in the third position.
This was revealed by Lamborghini: “The biggest global markets in 2015 are the United States, China, and Japan respectively.”
The markets that contributed to Lamborghini’s 2014 global auto sales were the United States, China, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and Japan. In 2015, Japan surpassed the Middle East and the United Kingdom; Japan, which previously ranked fifth, rose up to the third position.
Furthermore, the number of sales of Lamborghini worldwide exceeded, to 3,245 units from 3000 units. It increased 28% in comparison last year, making this the fifth consecutive year of year-on-year growth.
Majority of the units out of the 3,245 were by the Huracan, which sold 2,242 units. This is its first full year of sales, and it showed excellent sales performance. According to Lamborghini, the sales for the Huracan within 18 months have grown 70%, in comparison to the Gallardo, its predecessor.
Stephan Winkelmann, the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini commented that, “In 2015, Lamborghini had wonderful results in all of our major businesses.” Hereafter, we are planning for an enhancement of business strategies, such as in brands and lineup of goods.”
