Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) announced that they will launch a child-rearing facility for employees, which will be the industry’s first commercial vehicle, near Kawasaki Plant on on February 2, 2016.
MFTBC aims to establish a work-life balance facility. Although there are various policies that have been conducted for a wider scope of ages, such as working at home or childcare service systems, there have been many requests from within MTFBC about establishing a child-rearing facility. This project team that focuses on female employees who can work and take care of their child at the same time was launched in September 2014. MTFBC has been organizing a very convenient establishment for their employees, where they can make brilliant concepts and select appropriate locations.
The new child-rearing facility, called Fuso Kindergarten, is a two-minute walk from the MTFBC Kawasaki Plant, so it is a very accessible location. This facility adopts a harmonious natural environment-oriented interior design, where you can feel the warmth of a tree inside, and has lighting that looks like sunlight filtering through trees. And as an international child-rearing facility, MTFCB will also deploy staff who are proficient in both Japanese and English.
