CES16: Honda presents energy management technology for a hydrogen society

Honda displayed various products at CES16 in Las Vegas that use hydrogen fuel technology.

At a collaborative display with the Ceatec Japan electronics booth, Honda introduced its energy management technology including the Power Exporter 9000, an external power device which also won the event’s grand prix prize in the Green Innovation category.

The exhibition showcases Honda’s concept of “make,” “use” and “connect” wherein you “make” hydrogen energy from renewable sources at smart hydrogen stations (SHS), use energy with a new type of FCV called Clarity Fuel Cell using the Power Exporter 9000 or the regular V2H DC Honda Power Manager charger, and “connect” power between FCVs or electric cars, and the community, household or facility.
