According to Toyota Motor Corporation’s production, domestic sales, and export results for November 2015, the worldwide production volume is enjoying its third consecutive month of growth, up 3.6% year-on-year to 757,925 units.
Due to increased production in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa, the overseas production is enjoying its third consecutive month of year-on-year growth, up 3.4% to 488,878. The production in Japan is enjoying its fourth consecutive month of growth, up 4.0% year-on-year to 269,047 units.
The sales in Japan are enjoying their second straight month of positive growth, up 2.2% to 121,628 units. Lexus’ sales are up 30.0% to 4,833 units. The kei auto sales are down 12.7% year-on-year to 2,356 units. Toyota is enjoying a 49.7 percent share of market excluding kei cars, a 1.1 point increase.
The exports are on their second consecutive month of growth, up 8.3% to 162,511 units. This is due to increased exports to North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
