Toyota Motor Corporation announced that the company will work towards a full-scale mass production of Plug-in Hybrid (PHV) and the BR Electric Vehicle (BR-EV) Charge System Development Department will be restructured as a formal organization on January 1, 2016.
In addition, the Japan Sales Business Group with their connecting divisions will be reorganized; a Digital Marketing Department will be established together with the BR J-ReBORN Department as a division within the group. Along with the usual business activities dealing with customer awareness and behavior, it aims to promote J-ReBORN Plan which advertises ReBORN as the best enterprise among the stores in town.
Moreover, the BR Quality Innovation Department which is responsible for quality improvement will be merged with the TQM Promotion Division, which is responsible for promoting improvements for business reform across the whole company for the purpose of strengthening the fundamental quality of work.
