Be Forward, a used car exporter, announced that their October 2015 sales estimate increased 16.9% to 4.43998 billion yen compared to last year, making it their best October record.
The export sales of October are expected to increase 4.4% year-on-year to 11,968 units. The export sales of November are expected to increase 8.7% to 11,000 units.
The 2015 July to September quarter sales increased 6.8% year-on-year to 12.46694 billion yen, and export sales are expected to be down 8.4% to 33,489 units. As of October this year, there has been a significant sales slump in some countries in Africa because of the impact of the depreciation of emerging countries’ national currencies against dollar, such as the Zambian Kwacha that declined 45% at the beginning of the year; but strong sales in some regions, such as the Caribbean countries, have compensated for this. Export sales from October to December are expected to return to the usual average.
