Scion has announced that it will discontinue sales of the Corolla Lumion for the US market. The Corolla Lumion is sold as the Scion xB in the US.
The Corolla Lumion was released to the Japanese market in October 2007. Based on the Scion xB launched at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show, the Corolla Lumion was established with a revised front end to match the preferences of Japanese consumers.
According to Scion, “The xB will be discontinued with the release of the 686 Parklan Edition.†This exclusive limited edition model of the xB was designed in collaboration with popular snowboard apparel company, 686.
The 686 Parklan Edition features an exclusive “Cocoa Bean†exterior with aluminum wheels and specially designed seats. It will be limited to 686 units to equal the 686 brand name.
