Toyota committed to compliance with vehicle emissions regulations

On October 14, Toyota Motor Corporation announced that the company is “committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations, and does not engage in vehicle emissions testing manipulation.”

Toyota’s statement arises from Volkswagen’s emissions scandal with many questions being asked to all Japanese automakers concerning their compliance with regulations.

Toyota hopes that their customers will continue to drive their vehicles with peace of mind, as they will work to further develop their manufacturing which includes the design of cleaner, low emission systems.
