Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has launched their medium- and heavy-duty FUSO trucks in Trinidad and Tobago and Cambodia. These trucks are being produced at the Oragadam plant in cooperation with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) under Daimler Trucks Asia.
This launch to Trinidad and Tobago marks the debut of the FUSO brand in the Central and South American market. This signals the beginning of further expansion by MFTBC into the Latin American market.
For the Asian market, the FUSO FA and FI medium-duty trucks as well as its heavy-duty FJ were released in Cambodia. MFTBC aims to expand its market share with the additions of these new trucks to its lineup.
This launch is the first time that MFTBC has exported FUSO vehicles with left-hand drive. Moreover, FUSO brand’s left-hand trucks will soon be available in Laos as well with the launch of their heavy-duty FJ. MFTBC will be expanding its left-hand trucks to more markets around the world in the future.
