Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced on January 19 that it has formed an independent Executive Advisory Council (EAC) to serve as a consultative advisory body to its Board of Directors.
The EAC will provide MMPC’s Board of Directors expert advice and opinions that are vital to developing corporate strategies. They will also guide the company to make useful and effective business decisions for the various operations of MMPC while looking at the economic policy trends while also adhering to goverment regulations.
To ensure the effectiveness of the EAC, the MMPC has selected three management experts from different fields, and they are the following: Juan Santos, current Social Security Commission Chairman who became the Department of Trade and Industry Secretary in 2005; Deogracias Vistan, current Philippine National Bank Independent Director who has held executive positions in both government and private banks; and Edgar Chua, current President of Shell Philippines.
