Honda Aircraft Company, Inc. (HACI) announced that the HondaJet achieved the most number of deliveries in its category for the first half of 2017, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association.
A total of 24 HondaJet aircraft were delivered to customers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and countries in Europe between January and June of 2017. HACI currently produces four HondaJet aircraft on average per month.
Along with its Over-The-Wing Engine Mount configuration, this compact business jet features exclusive technology such as natural laminar flow and composite fuselage. According to HACI, the HondaJet, which has been delivered since December 2015, is the “fastest, highest-flying, quietest, most fuel-efficient, and most comfortable business jet in its class.”
“The HondaJet is a very high-tech and sporty aircraft, and it is like a flying, high-precision sports car. We want to create new value in business aviation and I hope to see many more HondaJets flying all over the world,” said HACI President and CEO Michimasa Fujino.
