Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation signs basic agreements with 3 overseas companies for MRJ maintenance facilities

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation has chosen three companies to handle the maintenance, repair and inspections for its Mitsubishi Regional Jets in North America and Asia. It has made basic agreements with HAECO Americas, Pemco World Air Services and MRO Japan and plans to formally sign contracts with the three companies soon.

The company will handle its own aircraft maintenance in Japan but has chosen to entrust other companies with its overseas business. Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation is currently going through a selection process to find companies to operate maintenance facilities in each region. As a result of this process, it decided to form partnerships with two companies in North America and one in Asia that are receiving orders for the MRJ.

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation aims to offer high quality customer support in order to ensure safety, peace of mind and effective operation. This selection of facilities is one part of this strategy.
